the sole purpose of hero is to help his friend become the hero and sacrificing himself.

Military

This is second world war. indians are fighting alongside brits in mongolia.

the problem -> some of the indians went and joined the Axis forces as INA. so friends are fighting each other. we are commanded by brits who are our mortal enemies.

Contagious disease

A man came into country with a contagious disease(Ebola). he was murdered by someone and patched up by a doctor . upon discovering that he had disease, police started tracing back the disease. there is one strand in which the man went to a whorehouse and spent the night there.
the dilemma with police is that either they should arrest the guys or should offer full pardon upon which they can only hope that they will turn in. the doctor who patched him is not willing to turn in and is missing for 3 days. this is where the story starts.tracing the path back

Someone trying to save someone who has joined Isis

Witch 1

A witch house in middle of a village is burned accidentally or otherwise, witch's son dies in that and no one helps. She takes a vow to destroy it.

Someone in distress asks for help from a detective and it reaches the culprit and he comes as detective.

Detective

Its starts with a letter written by a distressed woman asking for help from a crime fiction writer. She thinks that the fictional character is alive.
Its based on a real story where Conan Doyle was asked to acquit an alleged criminal.
The writer may have written some replies posing as his fictional character saying that he is busy or something. At last, he had to investigate it all by himself.
